The Ancients is set in a post-apocalyptic world that has been suddenly usurped by nocturnal daemons. Humanity battles to survive with modern technology proving worthless against the magicka of the daemons with their survival hinging on uncovering the ancient magic once used to seal them away. The story follows the main protagonist Richmond who plays a pivotal role in humanities battle for survival, disillusioned by the inadequacies of the old world, on his journey to rediscover lost rune magic.
